摘要
A hybrid PEEC-SPICE method with curved triangular meshes is presented for the circuit and electromagnetic co-simulation of PCB/Flex circuit. In this scheme, the PCB/Flex circuit is discretized by using curved triangular patches for conducting surfaces, and by using curved RWG basis functions for expanding surface currents. Then, based on the quasi-static method of moments (MoM) solution to surface electric field integral equation, the partial element equivalent circuit (PEEC) method leads to an equivalent lumped elements circuit. With the equivalent lumped matrix, the solution of the PEEC circuit is achieved by the simulation program with integrated circuit emphasis (SPICE) rather than classical MNA solver. Several numerical examples with time and frequency domain results are provided to demonstrate the validation, the accuracy and the flexibility of this PEEC-SPICE method.
