Objective: To learn about the chemical constituents of astragalus monbeigii.Methods: Compounds were isolated from the ethyl acetate part of A.monbeigii with column chromatography and their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods.Results: Six compounds were obtained and identified as trilinolein(1),lupeol(2),octadecyl-3-methoxy-4-hydroxy-benzeneacrylate(3),tetracosanoic acid(4),β-sitosterol(5),and isoliquiritigenin(6).Conclusion: The six compounds were all isolated from this plant for the first time.
