摘要
The frequent occurrence of highly infectious diseases in recent years has posed a serious threat to human life and public health safety and has received close attention from governments and all sectors of society in all regions of the world. The spread of pathogenic microorganisms by means of aerosols is one of the important ways to cause large-scale epidemics of mass infectious diseases. To address this issue, this paper first analyses the structural characteristics of pathogenic biological aerosols and introduces their movement coupling behavior. Secondly, based on the three main strategies currently implemented for infectious disease management engineering control, the various bioaerosol control techniques included are discussed in terms of 4 aspects: personal protective equipment, concentration dilution, filtration and clearance, and extermination and inactivation. Finally, the building and environment to which each technique is applicable is presented with respect to its characteristics. The aim of this work is to summarize the existing suppression strategies and techniques and to assist researchers in complementing and combining them. At the same time, it is hoped that the buildings and environments to which each of the technologies summarized in this paper applies will lead to further, more in-depth findings, which are not only essential for improving the current epidemic control chain but will also be useful in addressing possible future challenges.
