摘要
The primary source of novel medications has been natural ingredients. Many methodologies have been established to identify novel medications based on natural ingredients. Traditional and ethical remedies have offered knowledge on therapeutic effects and led to the creation of several essential natural product drugs. Scientists were encouraged to build a novel tiny molecule because of the unique behavior of medical plants, such as high therapeutic effects and fewer adverse effects. The estrogenic characteristics of several plants may also explain their usage in traditional medicine and folklore. New methodologies in drug development from natural compounds have emerged due to enormous technological advancements. Bioinformatic and artificial intelligence have aided the study and development of natural goods. This review will set the natural product drug development methodologies and technology scenario.
