Interrelationship between platelets and BUN in postmenopausal patients with coronary heart disease: findings of the NHANES from 2003 to 2016.

During menopause, women are more likely to develop coronary heart disease (CHD) due to the significant changes in body metabolism brought on by the loss of estrogen. The purpose of this study was to investigate the independent association between platelet parameters and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) in postmenopausal patients with coronary artery disease in order to clarify the function performed by platelet parameters and BUN in thrombosis.
