摘要
An understanding of environmental change and human adaptation across different times and spaces is significant for the study of the interaction between humans and the environment. This understanding can provide vital information for coping effectively with rapid changes in climate. It is imperative that transdisciplinary research be conducted to explore integrated approaches to detecting the relationship between environmental change and social evolution across different times and spaces. Therefore, this Special Issue aims to break down the disciplinary boundaries and present the current research debate on how to correlate different climate, environmental, and social changes and explain the human past. The papers in the Special Issue provide new data and views on the interaction between environmental changes and social evolution.
