Detection of Piston using a Digital Pyramid Wavefront Sensor

Pyramid Wavefront Sensors are sensitive to piston. Here we present the preliminary work, which uses a spatial light modulator as a digital pyramid wavefront sensor to detect the piston from a segmented phase screen.
