The effect of smoking status on clinical outcomes in reverse total shoulder arthroplasty (rTSA) has not been thoroughly characterized. We sought to compare pain and functional outcomes, complications, and revision-free survivorship between current smokers, former smokers, and non-smokers undergoing primary rTSA.
