This paper is created based upon the Bandgap reference voltage along with a Startup compensation circuit which is independent of temperature, voltage and other process parameters. The design is carried out in three different process technologies with a comparison on the low voltage power supply obtained in each of the technologies. The simulation is carried out at a range of -400C - 1250C in Cadence Virtuoso using Spectre simulator. The proposed design of the BGR is based on a current mirror circuit. Two important parameters were taken into consideration: Temperature variation and Supply voltage variation. Based on the requirements, PTAT (Proportional To Absolute Temperature) and CTAT (Complementary To Absolute Temperature) were designed, and a constant reference voltage was obtained by combining both and cancelling the effects of both.
