N-oxide promoted pauson-khand cyclizations at room temperature

Tertiary amine oxides have been utilized to effect cobalt-mediated intramolecular cyclizations of enynes (Pauson-Khand reactions) at room temperature. The stereoselectivity, range and limitations of this method are examined.
