Pharmacokinetics of inhaled levodopa (administered with oral carbidopa) and oral carbidopa/levodopa in subjects with Parkinson's disease under fed conditions

Objective: CVT-301 is a levodopa inhalation powder for OFF period treatment in PD subjects on an oral dopa-decarboxylase-inhibitor/levodopa regimen. To evaluate pharmacokinetic profiles and safety of single doses of CVT-301 84mg, administered with oral carbidopa, and single oral doses of carbidopa/levodopa, under fed conditions, in PD subjects.
