Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor: an under recognized differential of uterine mesenchymal tumors

Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumors of the uterus are uncommon mesenchymal neoplasms with intermediate malignant potential.[1][1] Previously classified under 'inflammatory pseudo-tumors', inflammatory myofibroblastic tumors most commonly involve the lungs and intra-abdominal soft tissue.[2][2]
