It was fascinating to read and a substantial addition to the literature. However, a few noteworthy points were missing from the discussion.First, the risk for acute ischemic stroke is also significantly increased during infection with influenza (2) and may share pathogenetic mechanisms with acute IHD noted in 4412 of Chow and colleagues' patients.
