摘要
Although great advances have been achieved in organic electroluminescence fields, highly efficient deep blue materials are still limited. In this work, two sp3 linker connected bipolar arylsilanes, end-capped by diphenylamino/carbazolyl and phenanthroimidazole, were prepared and characterized. The bipolar arylsilanes exhibit high thermal/morphological stabilities, deep blue emission, and high luminescence efficiencies in a solid state. Information obtained for the crystal structures indicates a twisted conformation for the molecules. Organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) using DSiPPI as a dopant exhibit a deep blue luminescence with Commission Internationale de L'Eclairage (CIE) coordinates of (0.167, 0.078) and a maximum external quantum efficiency (EQEmax) of 7.07%, indicating the great potential for the use of this chromophore in deep blue OLED applications.
