Combining the dynamics and fracture mechanics,and based on the theory of viscoelasticity,the dynamic response of the asphalt pavement with multiple cracks under vertical load is discussed by finite elements numarical simulation.The effects of crack spacing on the stress intensity factors and the stress of the crack tip are analyzed.The numerical results show that the base bottom crack is determined by types I and II stress intensity factors alternately.As the crack spacing increasing,its influence on the stress intensity decreases.The stress on the tip of the top-down crack induced by the dynamic loads is compressive.With increasing cracking spacing,the compressive stress and the maximum of shear stress first decreases and then increases.The numerical results also show that the effectiveness of using geotextiles for anti-cracking.
