ChemInform Abstract: (Sr1‐xBax)FeO2 (0.4 ≤ x ≤ 1): A New Oxygen‐Deficient Perovskite Structure.

Abstract The new oxygen‐deficient perovskites of title are prepared by reaction of (Sr 1‐x Ba x )FeO 3‐δ (x = 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 0.9; δ ≤ 0.5; obtained from stoichiometric mixtures of SrCO 3 , BaCO 3 , and Fe 2 O 3 at 1473 K in air for 48 h) with an excess of CaH 2 at 593 K for 3—14 d (0.4 ≤ x ≤ 0.9) and NaH at 413 K for 3 d (x = 1.0).
