In article number 1802829, Zhongtao Li, Mingbo Wu, and co-workers report a new type of amorphous iron-borate nanolattice on Ni foam as a self-supported electrode in a zinc-air battery and water splitting. The well-defined amorphous electrode shows exceptional activity in terms of the oxygen evolution reaction, hydrogen evolution reaction, and oxygen reduction reaction, which could be potentially used in large-scale electrical energy storage and conversion devices such as fuel cells, Li-ion batteries, and solar cells.
