摘要
A temperature adaptability improvement method based on long range optical delay system of optoelectronic oscillator is proposed. The optical delay system consists of optical delay line, optical switches and delay fibers. The optical delay line is used to adjust opto-electronic loop continuously, and the optical switches and fibers are used to extend optical path which could stabilize cavity length of optoelectronic oscillator over a large temperature range. The principle and optical path tuning range of optical delay system of phase locked optoelectronic oscillator is theoretical analyzed and experimental verified. Results show that optoelectronic oscillator with 4 km fiber remains stable within 15 ℃ using the optical delay system, while maintaining its phase noise performance. The optical path of optical delay system can be expanded.
