摘要
Remnant cholesterol (RC) is cholesterol derived from chylomicron remnants, very low–density lipoproteins and remnants, and intermediate-density lipoproteins. RC is capable of entering the subendothelial space, leading to endothelial dysfunction and vascular injury without oxidization, as required by low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C). 1 Sandesara PB Virani SS Fazio S Shapiro MD The forgotten lipids: triglycerides, remnant cholesterol, and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease risk.
