Congenital bronchobiliary fistula

Congenital bronchobiliary fistula is a rare but distinct congenital anomaly. In the5 recorded cases the lesions were apparently identical: a large fistula extending from the right main stem bronchus to the left hepatic duct system. Clinically the patients presented with aspiration pneumonia and atelectasis of variable degree. The diagnosis can be made only by bronchoscopic and bronchographic examination.
