摘要
With the fast development of radar technology, millimeter-wave radar has gained widespread attention in the field of medical and healthcare research and applications. Due to the technological advantages in single-chip integration and cost control, millimeter-wave radar has emerged as an ideal choice in the field of human activity recognition. This paper first introduces the fundamental theory of millimeter-wave radar and information fusion. Secondly, it systematically reviews recent research on human activity recognition based on millimeter-wave radar technology. Thirdly, a comparison is drawn between unimodal perception methods and multi-modal information fusion approaches for human activity recognition. Finally, the challenges and future development trends of millimeter-wave radar in the domain of human activity recognition are outlined.
