To evaluate the effectiveness of electric stimulation rehabilitation nursing on patients with swallowing disorders after stroke using a Meta. Computer searches were conducted in PubMed, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, VIP, Wanfang Data, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, and China Biomedical Literature Database. The publication date was limited from January 1, 2010, to January 1, 2020. All included studies were controlled trials, and Revman 5.3 was used to perform the Meta. A total of 21 articles with 2075 patients were included, including 1040 patients in the experimental group and 1035 patients in the control group. The Meta in this paper indicated that after electric stimulation rehabilitation treatment, the psychological function [OR = 16.57, 95% CI (14.99, 18.15), P < 0.00001], physical function [OR = 10.69, 95% CI (7.18, 14.21), P < 0.00001], social function [OR = 13.53, 95% CI (11.19, 15.86), P < 0.00001], quality of life [OR = 14.51, 95% CI (13.18, 15.84), P < 0.00001], and treatment effect [OR = 2.80, 95% CI (2.17, 3.60), P < 0.00001] of patients with swallowing disorders after stroke all improved. Rehabilitation nursing has a certain effect on alleviating swallowing disorders in stroke patients.
