485. Dynamic Functional Network Connectivity of Resting-State fMRI in Adolescents With Depression and Suicidal Ideation

The Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) study offers a unique opportunity to identify neural correlates of mental health problems in young people. Here we applied a Hidden Markov Modeling (HMM) approach to characterize dynamic functional network connectivity in the baseline resting-state fMRI data of the ABCD dataset. We tested whether depression and suicidal thinking in children were associated with neural inflexibility as characterized by fewer state transitions during rest.
