摘要
The crucial amino acids that improve plant nutrition were found after the diligent work of plant experts. Plant species immediately absorb amino acids as a source of nitrogen, and they are also a crucial transport form of organic nitrogen. In many plant species, there are numerous amino acid transporters. These amino acid transporters typically exhibit a variety of traits, such as substrate selectivity and a widespread expression pattern. To date, amino acids and their metabolisms have been established to have unintentional effects on the plant's physiology and growth due to their relationship with several pathways. For example, the relationships between certain amino acids like lysine andtryptophan and the tricarboxylic acid cycle, biotic stress response, starch mechanism, and protein reaction have been documented. Considering all these points together, the usage of amino acids in various plant processes such as plant growth, photosynthetic assimilation, and nutrient uptake is the main topic of this book chapter.
