In order to address the issues of low accuracy, high insertion loss, and difficulty in recording results of the power measurement device for high-frequency thermal sealing systems, this paper designs an in-situ power detection device for high-frequency thermal sealing systems based on a dual directional coupler. The high-frequency low-power signal is coupled by the dual-directional coupler, which is converted to the voltage signal by the attenuator. The RF relay can also be controlled to disconnect the attenuator to expand the detection range. Calculate the corresponding forward power and reflected power based on the calibrated quantitative relationship between voltage and power, and display them on the serial port screen. After testing, the designed power detection device has a small impact on the output power of the high-frequency heat sealing system, has high measurement accuracy, and the measurement error is less than 0.13 dB at the operating frequency of the system, with insertion loss as low as 0.04 dB.
