摘要
Dual-phased Mn3O4-γ-MnS nanocomposites are highly stable, abundantly available, low cost, environmentally compatible, and were synthesized by using a one-step facile combustion method. The synthesized Mn3O4-γ-MnS nanocomposites were analyzed using XRD, SEM, EDX, UV–Vis, and FT-IR analytical techniques. Mn3O4-γ-MnS nanocomposites exhibit nanoforest-like morphology, which is a promising candidate for the degradation of hazardous MB dye with 91.2 % efficiency. Material gains its catalytic activity and stability up to four cycles. From all these studies, Mn3O4-γ-MnS nanocomposites are a significant material for wastewater treatment and could be used for many electrochemical applications.
