摘要
Our main focus is the green chemistry challenge, which is already a trend in all environmental processes. Voltammetry is an eco-friendly technique as it requires fewer solvents through minimum steps, producing no hazards. In the developed method, a novel electrochemical sensor was utilized to increase the sensitivity, selectivity, and enable minor detection of veterinary compound toldimfos sodium (TDS) in many matrices. The multi-walled carbon nanotube composite modified with zeolite (ZY/MWCNT) creates the sensor. A good linear relationship was obtained over a range of 0.2–100 nM with a high correlation of 0.9995. Its sensitivity was proved by the detection and quantification limits, which were calculated and found to be 50 pM and 151.5 pM, respectively. In order to test for food safety, it is utilized to determine the qualitative and quantitative amounts of TDS residue in cattle meat and milk. The obtained results were statistically compared with the reported method successfully. A greenness assessment was performed using Analytical Eco-Scale (AES) and Green Analytical Procedure Index (GAPI) tools, revealing an excellent green profile for the suggested method.
