Tables of Selected Examples of Directed Evolution and Rational Design of Enzymes with Emphasis on Stereo‐ and Regio‐selectivity, Substrate Scope and/or Activity

Two extensive tables are provided with references (citations), one summarizing studies focusing on directed evolution of active regio- and/or stereo-selective enzymes from 2016 to 2022, and the other presenting studies of enzyme engineering by rational protein design from the same time period. The tables are arranged according to enzyme type and contain information on the catalytic property being engineered, details of the respective mutagenesis method and strategy, and the area of applications in synthetic organic and pharmaceutical chemistry, as well as biotechnology. More than 190 references are listed.
