We appreciate the interest that Klein et al. have shown in our work, and thank them for their invaluable comments. We respect the findings of the study by Du et al. [ [1] Du Y. Ji Q. Cai L. Huang F. In our study, omentin expression in epicardial adipose tissue (EAT) was found to be significantly higher in coronary artery disease (CAD) patients than in non-CAD patients.
