摘要
In article number 1803581 by Sang-Jae Kim an co-workers, the design of a metal-organic framework (MOF) subfamily zinc imidazole framework (ZIF-8) based TENG for a self-powered UV currency counterfeit system and tetracycline sensing is described. The ZIF-8 has a high surface area, porosity and is chemically and thermally stable. The MOF provides flexibility regarding the size and functionality. The ZIF-8 exhibits positive surface potential. The device output is 164 V and 7 μA with ZIF-8 as positive and Kapton as a negative triboelectric layer. The device is used to drive a commercial temperature sensor, a UV currency counterfeit system and for tetracycline sensing.
