摘要
Vestibular migraine (VM) is a common clinical disease that can simultaneously attack vertigo and migraine. It has a high incidence, diverse symptoms and a large number of patients. As an independent disorder defined by the Bárány Association in 2012, its clinical treatment mainly refers to the treatment of migraine. As a safe, painless and non-invasive brain stimulation technique, transcranial magetic stimulation (TMS) has been widely used in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological diseases in recent years and has achieved satisfactory results. The therapeutic principle of TMS in vestibular migraine is manifested in the treatment of ion channel dysfunction, trigeminal vascular dysfunction, neurotransmitter abnormalities, cortical diffusion inhibition and accompanying symptoms in its pathogenesis. M1 (primary motor cortex) and DLPFC (dorsolateral prefrontal cortex) can be used as stimulation targets. It is effective in the treatment and prevention of vestibular migraine and has a good safety. Therefore, TMS has a good application prospect in the treatment of vestibular migraine and can be applied in clinic as a new treatment method.
