摘要
A biosensor is an innovative and potential analytical device that incorporates an organic detecting component with a broad scope of uses, for example, drug discovery, detection, biomedicine, food handling and processing, defense, and environmental and security monitoring. This has prompted the development of powerful, precise, and sensitive tools utilizing organic detecting components as biosensor. Organelle-based sensors were presented in this chapter, which are DNA-specific consolidating chloroplasts and mitochondria. These biosensors have high stability and specificity. As different organelles in living organisms show different pH. Organelles of the secretory pathway are thought to show a diminishing pH inclination hence, organelles' pH-based biosensors have been focused here.
