First total synthesis of asperilactone B. Revision of absolute stereochemistry of asperilactones B and C.

The first total synthesis of asperilactone B and revision of the absolute stereochemistry of asperilactones B and C are reported. The first total synthesis of the (−)-asperilactone B has also been achieved.
