Learn more.Copy URL Share a linkShare onFacebookTwitterLinked InRedditWechat Abstract No need to FRET: An efficient chemiluminescence resonance energy transfer (CRET) between luminol and CdTe quantum dots (QDs) is demonstrated. The system is based on horseradish peroxidase (HRP)–QD conjugates and the luminol/hydrogen peroxide chemiluminescence reaction. Multiple QD acceptors with different emission wavelengths can also be used simultaneously. The CRET approach can offer an alternative to fluorescence energy transfer (FRET) investigations.
