Antibacterial Action of Tetracycline: Comparisons with Oxytetracycline and Chlortetracycline.

The antibacterial action of tetracycline, oxytetracycline and chlortetra-cycline in vitro appeared to be very similar although significant quantitative differences are noted in the action of these 3 analogues on individual strains and under certain cultural conditions.
