摘要
Block polymers are a novel class of macromolecules with properties distinct from their parent homopolymers or a random copolymer of equivalent composition. Typically, an elastomeric block polymer is built of alternate segments of a glassy or rigid polymer and a rubbery polymer resulting in a material which is more flexible than the pure rigid polymer, but possessing a higher modulus than the pure rubbery segment. The intelligent design of block polymers has opened an additional opportunity to “tailormake” molecules for a variety of applications.
