摘要
A novel mushroom shaped half-sinusoidal antenna with a partial ground plane for THz (Terahertz) applications is proposed in this communication. The antenna is designed by cutting a half sinusoidal shape in the rectangular shaped patch and parametric analysis is carried out to obtain optimum ground size for antenna. The proposed design achieves wide impedance bandwidth of 0.37–2.80 THz (2.43 THz) for THz applications. An average gain of 8 dBi is acquired in the impedance bandwidth range with a 10.74 dBi maximum gain at 1.95 THz.
