The effects of the formation of a multi-scale reinforcing phase on the microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of a Ti2AlC/TiAl alloy

Via controlling the carbon content, a multiscale reinforcing phase, especially a nano-reinforcement phase in the α 2 lamellar, is formed. This not only improves the microstructure but also improves the room and high temperature mechanical properties.
