Introduction Acute-on-chronic liver failure (ACLF) is a clinical syndrome characterized as a severe condition with rapid progression, poor therapeutic response and poor prognosis. Early and timely evaluation of the prognosis is helpful for providing appropriate clinical intervention and prolonging patient survival.
