摘要
The development of bioelectronic technologies has been mainly motivated from needs in medicine and healthcare, however applications in plants have started to emerge. This chapter focuses on the current state of the art of bioelectronic applications in plants. Bioelectronic wearable devices for monitoring the plant microenvironment will be introduced. Then bioelectronic devices for monitoring and controlling plant physiology are discussed. Furthermore, plant biohybrid devices where plants are functionalized with electronic and functional materials and energy harvesting from plants is overviewed.
