摘要
A fluorescent chemosensor for fast detection of Cu2+ ion has been established based on a novel pyridine-appended half-salamo-based compound. The chemosensor PHS is easy to synthesize, eco-friendly and cost effective. It demonstrates an excellent selectivity and sensitivity towards Cu2+ ion in the mixed DMF:H2O (9:1, V/V, pH = 7.2) solution by change in fluorescence intensity. Calculated through the Origin Program, relevant experimental results were obtained, such as the limit of detection (LOD), the limit of quantification (LOQ) and the association constant (Ka). Compared with other reported probes, this probe showed a lower detection limit and provided a relatively simple and effective method for the detection of Cu2+. In addition, plausible mechanism for the interaction of the probe PHS with Cu2+ was proposed according to the fluorescence titration experiments, Job’s plot, and DFT calculations.
