摘要
Metal binder jetting (MBJ) exhibits excellent potential for the high-speed and low-cost fabrication of complex structures among metal powder–based additive manufacturing techniques. This chapter is devoted to the MBJ technique, with respect to its history, fundamentals, printing process, powder and binder materials, equipment, and the microstructures and mechanical properties of the representative materials for the printed parts. The unique ability of MBJ to print parts using refractory metals, magnesium and its alloys, and magnetic alloys is also examined.
