摘要
The liquid solvates of the tetrachloroaluminate of lithium, sodium, calcium, strontium, and their mixtures, have been found to be very highly conductive inorganic electrolytes with low vapor pressure. The conductivity is as high as 10−1 Ω−1 cm−1 for some compositions. The addition of the solvate of , , or to has been found to lower the freezing point considerably. The lithium stability at elevated temperatures is best in electrolytes with higher content such as , or solvate electrolyte containing , than electrolyte containing pure .
