In this paper, development of the general contracting management of an EPC project in China is briefly introduced. Realization of standardization, elaboration and informatization management in every stage of the EPC project (namely engineering, procurement and construction on the basis of project quality assured and cost saved) is probed in conjunction with practical management experiences in previous EPC projects (such as Zunyi Xinye Dongcheng, Huainan China Construction Building, Ningbo Logistics Distribution Center, and Foshan Sino German Industrial Services Zone) so as to achieve quality and efficient management of the EPC project.
