摘要
With the rapid development of today’s society, national life is in the information age, and the volume of information business is increasing explosively. The communication system is increasingly required to transmit and process information. In this environment, how to better improve the transmission performance of communication system at a faster transmission rate has become the main research content at home and abroad. The research process of the topic, mainly using Optisystem simulation software for optical fiber communication system link simulation, first of all through the optical fiber three low loss window simulation, through the analysis of bit error rate to get the transmission distance on the system performance. Furthermore, by changing the time constant RC and carrier lifetime τ, the effect of LED modulation bandwidth on the system transmission performance is observed by eye graph results under different data transmission rates. It is found that the frequency response characteristic of LED is an important factor to determine the modulation bandwidth of LED, and the modulation bandwidth of LED is an important factor to determine the signal transmission of optical fiber communication system. [1] Therefore, the performance of optical fiber communication system can be improved by selecting appropriate optical fiber channel and transmission distance and improving the modulation bandwidth of LED.
