摘要
In this study, shaking noise existing in defect detection of steel wire ropes are discussed based on magnetic flux leakage signals while using a multi-channel Hall sensor array. The causes and features of shaking noise are also studied according to the principle of Hall sensors and distribution of magnetic field. Due to the differences between shaking noise and local flaws signals, a shaking elimination method is introduced. To test its feasibility, the experiment is designed under strong shaking noise when using steel wire ropes with some defects. By calculating the Signal to Noise Ratio, the accuracy and reliability are evaluated. This research provides a new train of thought to promote the liftoff distance of detection device and lengthen the lifespan of the detection device.
