One-pot synthesis of novel water-dispersible fluorescent silicon nanoparticles for selective Cr2O72− sensing

The novel water dispersible SiNPs which were prepared by a one-step hydrothermal method were applied to the detection of Cr₂O₇²⁻via internal filtering effect (IFE) and a fluorescent paper sensor for visual detection of Cr₂O₇²⁻ was developed.
