Gel electrolytes are a promising research direction due to their high safety. However, its poor room temperature conductivity along with complex preparation process hinder its practical application. In this article, a type of zwitterionic gel electrolyte is prepared by in situ polymerization. The introduction of charged but nonmigrating zwitterionic copolymer in the polymer chain is beneficial to the dissociation of the lithium salt, improving the ion transport of the electrolyte on this account.
