Data and meta data used to support the findings presented in the paper "Upslope release - downslope receipt? Multi-year plant uptake of permafrost-released nitrogen along an arctic hillslope", Pedersen et al., 2022, Journal of Ecology, DOI: 10.1111/1365-2745.13925. The study was conducted near Qeqertarsuaq, western Greenland. Stable isotope labelling experiment to simulate nitrogen release from thawing permafrost at the top of an arctic hillslope to investigate topograpical N transport and corresponding plant N uptake along the slope throughout four years. Data include 15N isotope data for plants and soil by species, soil depth, distance along slope, and year, and data on ecosystem characteristics (soil characteristics, active layer depth, precipitation).
