Quantum dot LEDs (QD-LEDs) are promising for display and lighting applications. However, fabricating stable, efficient green and blue QD-LEDs remains a big challenge. In a recent study in Nature Photonics, Jin et al. developed a general strategy to eliminate charge leakage for the fabrication of efficient QD-LEDs with exceptional long-term stability (T95 lifetime of 580,000 h for green and 4,400 h for blue).
